Having been a Rugby and Village Estate Agent for many years, I was introduced to Paul Campbell by a mutual friend (who is also a colleague at Campbells) on a skiing trip. I even had a client pay me MORE money than the fee I had agreed to because they were so happy with my efforts. I bet there are few estate agents out there that could tell you that!
I concentrate on property within the Clifton upon Dunsmore area where I live, and also the surrounding Warwickshire and Northamptonshire villages – but please bear in mind I cover many areas besides. In this day and age we can advertise your property wherever you live.
I have a very practical and honest approach to selling and letting houses; I believe in providing a first-class customer service. To me it is a very personal exercise. If you give me the responsibility of selling your well-earned asset, I will take it very seriously.

Over the years I have found it really hard to understand why people would put more effort into selling a second-hand car than they would do their house. With a car they’d clean and polish it inside and out, maybe even black wall the tyres all in order to make it look it’s best to get the highest amount of money for it.
Our homes are generally our most valuable assets – yet, and in spite of all the ‘housey programmes’ on TV these days, a lot of people still take the view that the buying public should ‘take us as you find us’.
Some clients simply don’t recognise that certain aspects of their property could be off-putting. To be fair to them, many agents won’t point these issues out either. Too afraid of offending I guess, or too keen to just get the instruction quickly. In my view, this isn’t offering the best advice.
I would never want to offend a client, but there are ways of discussing this subject tactfully.
The presentation of your home can quite literally make you, or cost thousands of pounds. It’s as simple as that!
