I have known Paul Campbell for more years than we both probably want to remember, and we have chatted over coffee about our families and work, respectful of each other, yet similar in our aims and ethos within our respective careers. My past career was in retail, from Sat girl to branch manager via cashier, administrator, window dresser, supervisor and trainee manager.
I have always been part of a team, and motivated through service excellence, customer satisfaction and working together. For me, there is no better feeling than to provide a service giving genuine interest, maximum effort and complete satisfaction for the customer and for the team you are a member of.
Recently, I was looking for a position that would allow me to use my experience and people skills, along with a team of like minded people. I saw Paul one day and we had a coffee, I chatted about my situation and desire to find the right position for me. We discussed the Campbells rental department, and his kind words of encouragement to ‘come and see’ how it works and if I would fit it. I thoroughly enjoyed my couple of days with Carla and Gemma, both professional, generous helpful colleagues, I knew that I wanted to be part of the Campbells team.
Time has flown by, I haven’t looked back yet…. haven’t had time to! That’s what I love, the variation, the people, the standards, the team work and the Campbells buzz!
