As many of our clients, friends and local businesses know, we’ve been working together to re-build Thangpalkot1 in Nepal.
Thangpalkot1 is a village in one of the remotest parts of Nepal that literally collapsed into a heap of rubble one Saturday morning.
It is a heartbreaking story, but fortunately, the villagers managed to keep their faith and hope alive until Paul and his son Will arrived Christmas 2015….
Back in May, Paul, Clare Bonwick – one of our team, 4 other friends and 7 from the Fine and Country Foundation went back to Nepal.
Once there, they spent 3 days walking from Kathmandu to Thangpalkot1 to show the work being done.
‘The May trek was life changing for me, even though it was my 6th visit and all my fellow trekkers, the guides, the porters and all the villagers. I can’t wait to go back in October.’ said Paul
The people of Thangpalkot1 still need so much help though so while we have support from clients and business associates then we will carry on.
If you would like to help or even visit Nepal yourself feel free to speak to Paul.
You are very welcome to join us on the 23rd of October on the trek to the village (click here for more information) or you can make a donation and help us that way.
