….there is no doubt that the property market is improving.
Although the property market is not what it was, there is no doubt that things are improving.
There are a few factors holding it back including: a shortage of properties coming onto the market and over cautious mortgage lenders.
If I could wave a magic wand and sort those two out I am certain that the market would take off in double quick time – not that we need the current situation to change too much, we would just like life to be a little easier for people that want to move.
Figures show the demand for houses has exceeded supply. When buyers do find the right home they are so keen not to lose the property they feel compelled to make a very quick decision.
A recent survey, revealed almost half the homebuyers who took part felt they had to make a quick decision to avoid losing out to someone else.
The average time they took to make their decision is pretty staggering. Bear in mind that for most people buying a new home is one of the biggest financial decision they will ever make … how long do they, on average, spend viewing a property?
Twenty one minutes!
People buying in East Anglia, for example turn out to be by far the quickest decision makers taking only 18.87 minutes. Ninety three per cent of couples polled said it was a mutual decision, while women had the final say in 73% of sales, if there was a disagreement. No surprise there then!
So if you want to sell your property then we need to compile some compelling marketing to attract interest and get you a good price.
While the market is still very challenging, the signs are encouraging and you need every bit of help you can get to make the most of the opportunities that do exist.
While the tight mortgage supply means there are no guarantees, you need to know how to really grab your buyers in that vital first twenty or so minutes. And that’s where me and my team come in.
You can forget the heavy-handed sales patter of the old school of money grabbing agencies… you’ll want to work with Campbells, because we’re exactly the opposite.
I have been in this business for 25 years and do it because I enjoy helping people. OK, I have to pay the bills, but making money is not my main motivation and if that ever happens, that’s the day I’ll hang the “Closed” sign on the door and walk away
There is an expression in the civil engineering industry “early contractor involvement” (ECI). They have realised that it makes sense to bring the professionals in at the earliest stage of a project to ensure the best eventual outcome.
So even if you are only considering putting your house on the market, not yet certain, and you would like to talk to someone with absolutely no obligation, give Campbells a call 01327 878926 now.
If you want to move I’d just get on with it.
