A lot of clients tell us how daunting it is to call estate agents as some would say we have this reputation for wanting to know everything and asking tons of questions.
We promise we are not like that here at Campbells. The best ways to communicate with us are to pick up the phone, drop us a line or just come in and say hello. We look forward to meeting you.
Long Buckby offers a wide range of amenities and services, including a doctor’s surgery, dentists, a popular public library, a veterinary surgery and a post office. There are two pubs in the village too.
Local shops include two grocery stores, a butcher, several hairdressers, a newsagent, a chemist and a wide range of restaurants and takeaways. What is nice is that all these amenities are a short walk from almost all areas of the village.
If you ever have to commute then that’s really easy – all major road networks including the A5, M1 and M6 are close at hand…
… and Long Buckby boasts one of the very few villages in the country with it’s own railway station, offering access to Birmingham New Street, London Euston and all the major towns in between.
There are dozens of clubs in the village for all age groups so there’s no excuse not to be active – if that’s what you choose.
Long Buckby is one of the very few villages in the country to have its own Railway Station – it’s on the London Midland Line.
The Village dates back around 1,200years – there’s a mound in the centre of the village which in the 12th century has a castle built on it. There’s also a history shoemaking in the village.
The village name has a Nordic origin – meaning village by the stream..
Comedian Stanley Unwin lived in Long Buckby, he stayed as a resident until his death in 2002.
At Campbells, we are different. Feel free to ask any question you like and we promise to be as honest and up front as we can without wanting to know all your credentials. So, whatever you want to achieve, we have the resources here to advise you properly.
