I have a particular interest in helping people sell properties in Braunston plus the surrounding villages however, I have dealt with the sale of hundreds of family homes around Daventry and the surrounding villages, as you will see from my profile preview below. Don’t forget we can sell property all over England, so don’t hesitate to ask for my advice.

Having started in a rising market and worked through recession periods, my experience in the property business is wide and varied. More recently I have dedicated my energy towards specialising in larger village properties and properties that are difficult to sell.

After serving 27 years in the British Army with a front-line infantry regiment, being bounced around the world at short notice was interesting, exciting and very often an exhilarating way to spend the younger years of my life.

At the peak of my Army career I had reached the rank of Warrant Officer Class 1 and had spent many years in various trouble spots worldwide. I decided at the age of 43 it was time grow up and start working towards a new career.

Part of my initial thought whilst working out my escape plan from the military, was to sell the small buy-to-let flat I had bought from Campbells in 2003 to raise the deposit for a bigger property to live in with my family. Fortunately, when I called into the office I spoke to Paul Campbell and after explaining my “bigger picture”, Paul suggested that I pop into the office to see him. After shadowing Paul within the business for just 1 week, my decision was made – I wanted to get involved in this exciting industry!

Within three months of first meeting with Paul, I was the first associate to join the new Campbell’s franchise model – I can’t believe how time fly’s.

I often call on my experiences of negotiating and managing in the British Army within my day to day role here, dealing with sellers and buyers helping them through the sometimes difficult negotiation and sales process, I find my current role very satisfying.

To strengthen my knowledge within the Property Industry I completed and passed the National Association of Estate Agency technical award, in residential sales and I am also a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.

On a personal note, I am a keen runner and have recently completed all six World Major Marathons which includes; London, New York, Chicago, Berlin, Boston and Tokyo where I managed to smash my PB, finishing in 3 hours 45 minutes, not bad for someone who started a marathon career at 48 years young!

I was also lucky enough to take part in ‘Project 26.2’ for Men’s Running Magazine where I was coached and trained by Olympians Martin & Liz Yelling.

Since completing the World Majors I have also completed 10 further Marathons plus a good number of half marathons all over the UK.  My next overseas adventure will be the Great Wall of China marathon but, the big target is to complete 26 full marathons and 74 half marathons before I hang up my running shoes and take up a more leisurely sport, like ‘Ultra Running’………possibly.
