We chose Campbells as our Estate Agents initially through a web search. After contacting Campbells via email we received a prompt response from Jeremy Taylor. We required a property valuation for Probate purposes. We also contacted other Estate Agents but Campbells were the only ones that responded!

After obtaining a Probate valuation, we informed Jeremy that we would remember the work he had done for us and would contact him again when we were ready to sell the property – which we did. It was Jeremy’s work (which was sincerely appreciated) in obtaining a Probate valuation that persuaded us to use Campbells again when the time was right.

Dealing with Campbells through the sale process was a pleasure. Nothing was too much trouble for Jeremy and he was extremely approachable.

After the sale process completed, we absolutely believed that our decision to use Campbells was the right one. Having one main point of contact through the sale process made things easy to deal with.

Jeremy kept us up to date and fully informed through the entire process. I’m not sure I would look at all Estate Agents in the same light. However, the Campbells service was above and beyond reproach.

Campbells' fees were extremely reasonable. We would have expected to pay more taking into account the service we received.

If I were to recommend Campbells to others, I would also let them know that Campbells' service is extremely professional. Campbells use modern technology to help make the process easier. Estate Agent terminology is kept to a minimum and communication is easy to understand.

To sum up, we are delighted with the level of service offered by Campbells and would happily go through the entire process with them again if the need ever arose.

We were first introduced to Campbells when we purchased a flat on the Vicar Lane back in 2018, the experience was positive and we found Campbells as an Estate Agency to be very down to earth, the people made the process very easy. When we recently bought another flat on The Haystack, the staff were refreshingly pleasant, again very down to earth and ever so easy to deal with. Initially, as I live in London, I had thought that it would be best to use the agents through which I had been letting the house, however enquiries to a friend who had previously used Campbells and a local property developer both elicited very strong recommendations.

I obtained valuations from both Campbells and the previous letting agents, and although Campbells' fees were higher and valuation lower than the other party, I felt that their valuation was more credible.

Also, they were much quicker to respond with a visit and a valuation. So with considerable anxiety I decided to accept the higher fee and instruct Campbells. There has not been a moment since when I regretted that decision.

Stan French, who was the agent responsible, never failed to return a call, was proactive in keeping us up to date with the progress of viewings and was correct in his assessment of what the house would fetch.

Admittedly I had reservations about the 'guide price' strategy, but it certainly worked in bringing in lots of viewings, and in the end instruction to completion was little more than 8 weeks - resulting in a sale at a price with which I was very happy.

As to the fee, I believe that it was well earned and that the peace of mind engendered by Stan and his colleague's responsiveness and honesty was priceless. In addition to this, Stan's recommendation of an excellent conveyancing service when my own much more expensive solicitors were not getting on with the job saved me a significant sum as well.

Couldn’t be happier with the service!

As its been a week in our new house and we are finally settling in, thought it was about time I sing the praises to the Campbells team in Daventry.

Lauren already had dealings with Campbells so they came highly recommended. We originally wanted to put the house on the market in 2019, Jamie came round to value the property and advise us on small things to do which would help with the sale. However COVID put a stop to that. Over the year we focused on getting all the points Jamie had highlighted to us sorted. When the time came for Agents to do follow up calls Jamie made sure he rang us himself to see how we go on.

In December 2020 we found a house we wanted and went to put our house on the market straight away. There were no questions who we would get to market the property, since Jamie had left a very good impression on us from previous dealings. We were also very impressed with how houses were marketed on social media and your website. Our house had never looked so good in the photos!

Campbells did a great job with managing our expectations for the viewings. We managed to get a whole load booked in Friday afternoon and most of Saturday. This was really important to us since we have a dog and both working from home, it did not unsettle us in the slightest.

Clare was extremely professional with the viewings, coming early to meet us and talking through points of the house she would highlight. One of the most important things was she would call us as soon as she was done, always giving us first hand feedback and thoughts and allowing us to come back home quickly.

Our house sold almost straight away with a few other offers. Unfortunately it fell through quite soon. This was no fault of Campbells. However Jamie sprang into action straight away and managed the situation, we didn’t have to worry at all, he had already got someone else lined up who had also offered on the house!

He did a great job managing all the little difficulties that pop up selling a house. Not only did he manage to deal with Lauren and I contacting daily near the end, he also managed our buyers expectations extremely well.

We were exceptionally happy with the service we received from Campbells from the start; definitely worth every penny we spent. Fully recommend to anyone.

Pity the buyer's buyer's solicitors caused a lot of frustration and stress, and it clouded what should have been a joyous experience.
That said, we only have good things to say about Campbells and cannot speak highly enough of you.

We had originally seen a house near the cricket club in Brixworth, marketed by Richard Greener, but it sold. We were about to take ours off the market when a lady from Campbells rang and said she had seen 4 Newlands on the market, noticed it hadn't sold, and could not understand why. She asked if we would consider allowing Campbells the opportunity to market it, hence when you came round.

The lady that carried out a viewing when you were on holiday was lovely, as was the young chap that did another. The people ringing to book the viewings were all lovely too and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. I don't know about the other office staff, they always said to ring you?

Campbells left us with a positive view of estate agents, but as I said, those solicitors clouded the experience because they took so long and left us in limbo (completely outside of Campbells control I know). It wouldn't stop me using Campbells again or recommending them.

We think Campbells are good value for money. Selling 4 Newlands and the amount of viewings you got was where they really earned their fee. They lived up to what they said they would try their best to do and offered an honest appraisal to help us sell it.

We are very pleased to provide feedback on our experience of selling our home with Campbells.

Campbells were the second estate agent to visit us. The two introductory meetings were quite different experiences.

We were very impressed with the detail that Amanda provided us with at this first meeting. She gave us a guide price and backed this up with evidence as to why she recommended the price. She talked us through each step the process would take before anyone came through the door.

In preparation for the sale we had visits for measuring, photographs and videos taken. An example of her giving us the best opportunity to attract potential buyers was when taking pictures the morning was overcast and she asked to return in the afternoon when the sun was expected to show our garden in its real beauty.

It was a very short time before we were on the market. The brochure for our home really showed it as we see it. We had a steady flow of viewers each week. We were given good notice of their time to visit.

After each meeting we received instant feedback then further feedback usually the next day. The firm kept in regular contact with potential buyers that were in love with our home but hadn’t buyers of their own property.

I suppose the greatest result was that Amanda got us the price we were hoping for and it was £30000 above that of the first estate agent.

Only last night I was able to recommend Campbells Estate Agents to a friend and advised her to contact Amanda. To be fair we met many of the team and were impressed with their interaction with us and eagerness to make our dreams come true.

My partner and I had a unique home-buying experience, finding our perfect house on Location, Location, Location.

We instructed Campbells to sell our house in early March 2020, just before the first COVID-19 pandemic Lockdown. We chose Campbells on a friend’s recommendation, of being very efficient and a specialist of the Crick area.

In a very short time there were several viewings which resulted in two offers. One offer she was negotiating on as it was less than the full asking price and she subsequently received an offer of the full asking price from a buyer who had a sizeable deposit. This was to our advantage as due to the nature of the building, not all mortgage lenders would be willing to fund the purchase.

This was particularly promising as the marketing of the property came about just as the lockdown came into force. Amanda kept me up to date with the situation as the sale progressed and was always contactable and responded to any emails and telephone messages I left.

Despite a few delays with the buyer's solicitors Amanda followed up any misgivings I had about the delay immediately and kept the sale on track.

I recently engaged Amanda to sell my property in Newnham. Prior to selecting Amanda I also considered two other Estate Agents. The decision to engage Amanda was due to her enthusiasm, knowledge of the market and pro-active approach to marketing and pushing the property.
