If dancing until the early hours sounds like your idea of a good Saturday night, Daventry Leisure Centre has a rather big one coming up this October.
The Deep Blue To-Do takes place on Saturday 24th October 2026, bringing dancers together for a huge Ceroc freestyle spread across four different rooms of music.
Starting at 8pm and continuing until 3am, the event attracts dancers from well beyond Daventry, with different musical styles, DJs and dance spaces running throughout the night.
The theme, as you might have guessed, is blue, so visitors are encouraged to add a little blue to their outfit if they fancy joining in.

Four rooms of dancing
One dance floor would not really do this event justice.
The Deep Blue To-Do takes over four rooms at Daventry Leisure Centre, each offering a slightly different atmosphere and style of music.
The event features:
Main Room
Chillout Room
Fusion Room
Tango Room
That means dancers can move between rooms throughout the evening depending on the music and style they fancy.
With multiple DJs and different dance spaces, there should be plenty of variety across the seven-hour event.
A big night on the Ceroc calendar
Ceroc describes its Daventry events as attracting dancers from all over the country.
That helps explain the scale of the evening.
Current event information suggests crowds of more than 600 dancers, making this considerably bigger than a typical local dance night.
The organisers also provide a licensed bar, free water station, cooling fans, hot drinks and late-night treats, all of which are probably rather welcome if you are still dancing at 2am.
What is Ceroc freestyle?
If you already dance Ceroc, you will know exactly what a freestyle night involves.
For anyone less familiar with it, freestyle events are essentially social dance evenings where dancers can take to the floor throughout the night without following a structured class.
Ceroc itself combines influences from modern jive and other partner dance styles, making the social side of the evening just as important as the dancing.
The four-room format at Daventry gives regular dancers a chance to explore different styles and music without leaving the venue.
Wear something blue
There is an informal blue theme for the evening.
You do not need to arrive dressed head to toe in blue, although nobody appears to be stopping you if that is your plan.
The organisers simply encourage dancers to accessorise or add something blue to help create the atmosphere.
It is meant to be fun rather than formal.
