The Steps to Getting Market Ready
Preparing your property properly is a simple and reassuring process. Here is what you can expect when you choose to explore styling support.
1. Initial Conversation and Outline Quote
We begin with a free 15 minute conversation to understand what you want to achieve and discuss what level of presentation you think may help. A video call is a great way of showing us your property or you can send a video? Once we have an idea what is required, we will pass you to the right stylist. You can then choose to do nothing at all, style it yourself or invest in some help from the experts.
2. On Site Assessment
Initially our stylists can give you a few ideas and give you an idea of cost and timing. Once you are happy with the concept a stylist will visit the property to further review each space and identify the changes that will strengthen your presentation before going to market – you can decide what you would like to do yourself and what to leave to the experts.
3. Styling and Preparation
Once you are happy to proceed a plan will be set, with the work you are going to do, when the installers will arrive and when your stylist will turn up to curate the final feel and presentation. We suggest you go out for the day when this is being curated as it is organised chaos! But you wait until you see the finished home stage, you might not want to move!
4. Ready to Reveal
When everything is in place, we arrange for professional photography and videography with your agent so that your property can be shown to in its best light to the biggest audience – there is no doubt that a professionally homestaged home will be shared by more consumers and so much more ‘organic reach’ on all social media platforms than an unstaged property.
Remember… multiple viewings will create multiple competitive offers.

Do I need to style the full property?
Not at all. Many clients choose to focus on one or two WOW rooms instead. By WOW rooms we mean key spaces styled to show buyers how the room can look and feel at its best. This approach lifts the overall impression without needing to style every room.
Do I need to remove all of my personal belongings?
Not at all. Decluttering does not mean clearing everything away or taking out items you want to keep in place. We simply offer guidance on what to keep on show and how to arrange things so each room feels clear, welcoming and ready for photography and viewings.
Do I need to bring in brand new furniture to style my property?
Not at all. Most presentation work does not require replacing your furniture or changing your whole home. Simple accessories such as flowers, cushions, throws and soft lighting can lift a space and help it feel more inviting. Small touches often make the biggest difference to how a buyer visualises a space.
What if I still live in my property while it is on the market?
That is perfectly fine. Most of our clients do. We focus on practical changes that are easy to live with, so your property still feels comfortable day to day. If you prefer a more styled finish for photography, we can arrange that in a way that fits around you.
