Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and Daventry is marking the occasion in suitably spectacular style.
The Daventry Fireworks Spooktacular takes place on Saturday 31st October 2026 at Parker E-ACT Academy, bringing together a professional musical fireworks display, hot food, sweet treats and a little Halloween fun.
Gates open at 6pm, with the fireworks beginning at approximately 7.30pm.
Best of all, the whole event is free to attend.

This year’s event falls directly on Halloween, so children and adults are being encouraged to come along in their spookiest costumes.
Fancy dress is optional, but it should add a bit of extra atmosphere to one of Daventry’s biggest annual community events.
A professional musical fireworks display
The fireworks are being produced by MLE Pyrotechnics, the award-winning Daventry company behind previous displays in the town.
The show will be choreographed to music, with a soundtrack expected to span everything from older favourites to current hits.
That combination of fireworks and music has become a big part of the Daventry event, turning it into much more than a few rockets going off in a field.
If previous years are anything to go by, it should be a very colourful night over Daventry.
Make sure you arrive before 7.15pm
There is one important timing to remember.
Gates close for admission at 7.15pm.
The fireworks are due to start at around 7.30pm, so arriving early gives you time to get through the entrance checks, find a good viewing spot and pick up something to eat before the display begins.
Bag checks will be taking place at the entrance, so it is worth allowing a little extra time when you arrive.
Food, hot drinks and sweet treats
The food and drink stalls will be open from 6pm until 9pm.
Visitors can expect a selection of hot food, including favourites such as burgers and hot dogs, alongside cakes, candy floss and other sweet treats.
There will also be hot drinks available, which may prove particularly useful on an October evening.
Coming down early, grabbing something warm to eat and finding your spot before the fireworks start sounds like a pretty good plan.
No tickets needed
The Daventry Fireworks Spooktacular is completely free to attend.
There is no general admission ticket to buy and no advance booking is required.
Simply arrive at Parker E-ACT Academy after the gates open at 6pm.
Remember that last admission is at 7.15pm, so do not leave it until the fireworks are about to begin.
Parking for Daventry Fireworks
There is no general public parking available on site.
Daventry Town Council asks visitors to use the free public car parks around Daventry and walk to Parker E-ACT Academy rather than parking in nearby residential streets.
Two of the closest options highlighted by the Council are:
Old Gasworks Car Park, Brook Street, NN11 9HN
Approximately a nine-minute walk from the event.
Chaucer Way Car Park, NN11 9DD
Approximately an eight-minute walk from the event.
Chaucer Way can become busy early, so allowing extra time would be sensible.
A few important rules
There are several site rules in place for safety.
Visitors are asked not to bring:
Sparklers
Alcohol
Dogs, apart from registered assistance dogs
Smoking and vaping are also not permitted on the school site.
These rules help keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone attending.
