Start the weekend with the Pre Picnic Party
This year, the festival weekend starts a little earlier.
For the first time, the Picnic in the Park team is hosting a Pre Picnic Party on the evening before the main festival, and it sounds like a lovely way to ease into the weekend.
There will be live music, food, drinks and a relaxed village atmosphere at Pattishall Parish Hall.

It should be a relaxed evening of great music, good food and a few drinks before the main festival day begins.
What’s happening at Picnic in the Park?
The main festival takes place on Saturday 11th July 2026, running from 12 midday until 11pm at Pattishall Playing Fields. The organisers describe the event as a day of “Bands, Beer & Burgers”, with live music, food, drink and family entertainment throughout the day.
This year’s published line-up includes Wordsworth, Funk Odyssey, Houndogs, Let There B/DC, Allergy and One Way Ticket, bringing a mix of covers, tribute acts, funk, soul, disco, rockabilly and alternative music to the stage. Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy a range of food and drink from local and visiting vendors, including a bar, BBQ-style festival food, sweet treats, ice cream and plenty for families to enjoy across the site.
There will also be a Kids Zone and family activities, making it a full day out whether you are coming for the music, the food, the children’s entertainment or simply to enjoy a relaxed local festival atmosphere.
A special moment in the skies above Pattishall
One of the extra highlights planned for this year’s Picnic in the Park is an RAF FlyPast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The organisers have confirmed that a Hurricane is due to fly over the event, which should be a wonderful moment for everyone there. There is something quite special about a whole field of people pausing together, looking up, and enjoying a piece of British history passing overhead.
It is another lovely detail that makes this event feel so much more than a music festival. It is about community, shared moments and creating memories locally.

Tickets are available through the official Pattishall Picnic in the Park ticket shop.
Current ticket prices listed by the organisers include:
Adult all-day ticket: £20 early bird, rising to £25 gate price from 30th June 2026
Youth all-day ticket, ages 12–17: £12 early bird, rising to £14 gate price from 30th June 2026
Child ticket, ages 2–11: £3
Under 2s: Free, with wristbands issued at the gate
Adult evening ticket from 7pm: £15, available on the day only
There is also a Golden Gazebo Lottery, giving ticket holders the chance to win one of 20 prime gazebo pitches.
