If you are looking for something lively to do between Christmas and New Year, this could be exactly the night for it.
The Black & Bling Christmas Four-Room Freestyle comes to Daventry Leisure Centre on Sunday 27th December 2026, bringing together dancers from across the country for a huge post-Christmas Ceroc night.
Running from 8pm until 3am, the event spreads across four different rooms, with multiple DJs, different styles of music and plenty of opportunity to keep dancing well into the early hours.
The informal theme for the evening is Black & Bling, so a little sparkle is definitely encouraged.

Four rooms of dancing
The event takes over four rooms at Daventry Leisure Centre, each offering something a little different.
There will be:

Chillout Room
Tango Room
Fusion Room
A line-up of DJs will be playing across the different spaces, giving dancers the chance to move between rooms depending on the music and atmosphere they fancy.
The organiser currently lists nine DJs across the event, with confirmed names including Kieran Moore, Hayley Epps, Mark O’Reilly, Marc and Rachel, Darren and Zoe, and Lyndsey Hill.
A proper post-Christmas night out
The few days between Christmas and New Year can sometimes feel like one long Sunday.
This gives dancers a very good reason to get out of the house.
Ceroc’s Daventry events regularly attract people from well beyond the local area, and with four rooms running until 3am, this is designed as a full evening rather than a quick dance session.
There is also a licensed bar, a free water station and large cooling fans available throughout the event.
What is Ceroc freestyle?
A Ceroc freestyle is a social dance event rather than a structured class.
Once the music starts, dancers are free to take to the floor and enjoy the evening at their own pace.
Ceroc draws on modern jive and other partner dance styles, with the social side being a big part of the experience.
For regular dancers, the four-room format gives you plenty of choice.
If you are newer to Ceroc, it is also a chance to see just how big the wider dance community can be.
Can you go along and listen?
Yes.
There is no ticket or booking required, and the peal is free to enjoy.
Unlike a concert where everyone needs to sit in one place, the sound of the church bells will naturally carry across Badby.
You can simply listen from around the village while the peal is taking place.
Anyone specifically hoping to enter the church or bell tower should check with St Mary’s beforehand, as the public listing does not state that those areas will be open during the peal.
