Christmas comes to Daventry town centre on Saturday 21st November 2026, with the return of the Daventry Christmas Market & Festive Fun.
Running from 10am to 3pm, the event brings together independent traders, craftspeople, festive food and drink, children’s activities and seasonal entertainment across the heart of the town.
Santa will also be making an appearance in his sleigh, so this is a particularly good one for families looking to start the Christmas season locally.
Best of all, entry is completely free.

Santa is coming to Daventry
Santa will be visiting the Christmas Market in his sleigh courtesy of Rotary Danetre Daventry.
He will be based on the High Street, and families do not need to book an appointment to see him.
You can simply pop along during the event and say hello.
That makes it a very easy part of the day for families, without needing to organise a separate Santa visit in advance.

A festive day in Daventry town centre
The nice thing about this event is how much of the town centre gets involved.
Rather than everything being concentrated in one small area, the stalls and attractions spread across several streets and shopping areas.
That makes it easy to combine the Christmas Market with a visit to Daventry’s independent shops, cafés and restaurants.

Parking
Daventry Town Council confirms that parking is free in the town’s public car parks.
Visitors should still check the signs when they arrive, as individual car parks may have their own time restrictions or conditions.
The High Street and Sheaf Street will be closed to traffic for the event, so it is worth allowing a little extra time when travelling into town.
