Hello from the Campbells Bunker.

Since the lockdown we have been tirelessly working behind the scenes to be available to customers as normal, albeit remotely, and we are pleased to tell you that we have managed to adapt very quickly from our ‘new offices’ at home. Our online chat service is still available 24/7 too, for those that work outside normal office hours.

We just wanted to make you aware of some of the new methods in place:

Live broadcasting from the inside of a home, whether it is For Sale or To Let will become the norm for Campbells after lockdown. On previous broadcasts we have had in excess of 50 interested people taking a look around a home and we expect this method to become even more popular as consumers get used to the idea. In this current climate where social distancing is a must, it gives us the opportunity to show you the inside of a home safely.

In future this will help us to help sellers and landlords reach more buyers and tenants more quickly.

Our Facebook Live viewings allow anyone to come and view our properties without having to commit to a physical viewing and certainly not be concerned with social distancing.

And whilst it’s technically challenging, we provide this service to our audiences for free, without any obligation either.

We conduct the viewing remotely from the Campbells Bunker in Daventry, with one technical expert in the team at home supporting questions, our associate property expert at home conducting and commentating on the guided tour and the owner filming the event with a smart phone or tablet – you have to watch one to fully understand the benefits. It’s fun because, anything can happen. And it usually does.

The broadcast is recorded too and can be used afterwards for people that couldn’t make it to the live event.

How can you contact us during lockdown?

There is only one point of contact you can’t achieve at the moment and that is to physically meet face to face – but you can with video calling. If you’re not comfortable with that then you don’t have to, the telephone is still perfectly fine. We have found though, that having a ‘face to face’ video call is so much more relaxing, no aching elbow and no red ear. But it is up to you. We feel this will be the norm in future.

And as we mentioned above you can use our online chat facility which is available 24/7 and manned by humans, not robots! Admittedly the team that work through the night are clearly not as knowledgeable as the team during office hours but they have our ‘book of knowledge’ and will help you. Just tell us what you want to achieve and one of our experts will get back to you the following morning.

Virtual live viewings are working well too. We are able to carry out viewings on empty properties and where sellers and landlords are happy to show you around their property with one of our property experts being on hand, in their own home, to guide you around, comment and answer questions etc.
