Estate Agents in Byfield
We are the local estate agents specialising in the sale, rental and management of property in Byfield, Woodford Halse, Charwelton, Badby, Priors Marston, Lower Boddington, Upper Boddington, Eydon, Everdon and Fawsley.
A lot of clients tell us how daunting it is to call estate agents as some would say we have this reputation for wanting to know everything and asking tons of questions. At Campbells, we are not like that.
Living in Byfield
Byfield sits in West Northamptonshire, on the northern edge of the Cotswolds. It is almost of equal distance between Daventry and Banbury (around 10 miles) and is very close to the Oxfordshire border – it’s location is a popular reason why people choose to live here. The village had around 1,277 residents as of 2011 and still has a very high agricultural activity with 10 or so working farms in the area.
Byfield Village
Local conveniences include a small Co-op store (with a Post Office) and another local shop, a local pub (The Cross Tree) , petrol station, primary school and nursery.
The village has numerous different clubs as well as a popular recreation ground that is used for many activities including bowls, cricket, football and tennis. Byfield is very much a community based village with a village hall that regularly hosts events.
As it is surrounded by country side, the village offers the opportunity for many lovely country side walks.
Like many of the villages in the area, Byfield was mentioned in the Doomsday book in 1086. Byfield has actually played a very important part in history, two battles took place in Edgecote just three miles from Byfield – The War of the Roses and The English Civil War.
The area around Byfield also had various airfields and military installations during World War Two.
”“I got my first job in an estate agency practice when I was 17 – yes you will run out of fingers and toes if you try and work out how long ago that was. I think it’s fair to say I’m well qualified to help both novices and experts alike.
If you see me out and about in Byfield, please come and say hello”
